Domestic flights from Melbourne airport operate from three of the four terminals, with each Low Cost airline operating from a different one! Jetstar operate from terminal 1, the Qantas Domestic Terminal, Virgin Blue depart from terminal 3 (previously the Ansett terminal), and Tiger operate from Terminal 3.  Future grown may see Jetstar also use terminal 3 in the future.
Interstingly, the Melbourne to Sydney route is the 3rd busiest air traffic route in the world. Melbourne airport is the second busiest in Australia, and operates curfew free, 24 hours a day.
